Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support a project with the Department of Veterans Affairs, the full-time remote Business Analyst will gather and analyze business requirements, collaborate with stakeholders, and facilitate Agile software development efforts.

Key responsibilities:

• Develop detailed user stories and acceptance criteria by collaborating with stakeholders to gather and refine requirements
• Manage and prioritize the product backlog in partnership with business stakeholders to align with business goals
• Support sprint planning by helping define and prioritize tasks that drive incremental value

Required qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, a technical discipline, or any relevant discipline
• Minimum of 8 years of professional analyst experience
• Demonstrated experience as a Business Analyst in Agile environments, particularly within the SAFe framework using JIRA
• Proficient in software development processes, including requirements gathering and documentation
• Experience with the VA or other Government agencies is preferred
