Business Analyst

Job Summary

Working remotely on a contract basis, the Business Analyst will analyze and organize requirements, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and support the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS) in preventing fraud, waste, and abuse within government-sponsored health programs.

Key Responsibilities

• Analyze and organize requirements into stories under epics, generate acceptance criteria, and lead refinement sessions
• Maintain continuous communication with customers and stakeholders to document business requirements and assist with user acceptance testing (UAT)
• Design future-state business processes and workflows using industry-standard modeling tools

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of relevant experience as a Business Analyst
• Eligibility and willingness to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
• Knowledge of Agile methodology (such as Scrum) and/or Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe)
• Expertise in using JIRA and Confluence for managing requirements
• Bachelor's degree and SAFe Agile Certification
