Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support operational and technology initiatives, the full-time Business Analyst will analyze, document, and improve business processes while working remotely within an Agile Scrum environment alongside Software Engineers and QA Testers.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements, translating them into user stories and functional specifications for the development team
• Facilitate Agile ceremonies and collaborate with the development team to ensure requirements are understood and properly scoped
• Conduct root cause analysis and recommend process improvements to enhance efficiency and the end-user experience

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, computer science, or related field preferred
• 4+ years of business analysis or process improvement experience, preferably in a technology or professional services environment
• Proficiency in process modeling tools and Agile/Scrum development methodologies
• Licenses/certifications such as CBAP, PMI-PBA, or Lean Six Sigma preferred
• Familiarity with SQL for data querying and analysis is a plus
