Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting a major modernization initiative within the Department of Veterans Affairs, the remote Business Analyst will manage business process analysis, requirements gathering, and stakeholder engagement to enhance healthcare systems and enterprise transformation initiatives for Veteran services.

Key responsibilities

• Elicit, analyze, document, and validate business, functional, and technical requirements for VA modernization initiatives
• Conduct stakeholder interviews and workflow analyses to translate business needs into user stories and requirements documentation
• Collaborate with technical teams to ensure alignment between business objectives and technical solutions while supporting Agile delivery activities

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Technology, Healthcare Administration, or related discipline
• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst supporting enterprise IT or healthcare modernization programs
• Experience gathering and documenting business and functional requirements for complex systems and applications
• Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and requirements management processes
• Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and translating business needs into technical solutions
