Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support an Agile team delivering capabilities for an enterprise financial software system, the long-term contract Business Analyst will translate business and system needs into clear requirements and documentation while working remotely.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system needs into clear requirements, user stories, and documentation
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify scope and confirm priorities for development teams
• Create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications and process flows

Required qualifications

• Minimum of four years of Business Analyst experience supporting Agile software development
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management practices
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery and backlog management
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance
