Business Analyst

Job Summary

Analyzing business requests for automated systems, the full-time remote Business Analyst will formulate system scope and objectives, manage stakeholder communications, and develop specifications to meet user requirements.

Key responsibilities

• Acts as a liaison between end-users, programmers, and test analysts to ensure optimal operational performance and addresses complex problems with alternative solutions
• Develops business specifications and logical flowcharts, coordinating with programmers to design systems that meet user needs
• Conducts testing and validation, coordinates implementations, and assists with project planning and monitoring progress on development efforts

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information Systems, Business, or related field, or equivalent training/experience
• Typically a minimum of 4 years of relevant experience
• Professional experience working with end-users to meet business needs
• Scripting knowledge and understanding of data structures
• Working towards a Certified Business Analysis Professional (CBAP) is preferred
