Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting an Agile team, the long-term contract Business Analyst will translate business and system needs into clear requirements and documentation while working remotely with stakeholders and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business needs into requirements, user stories, and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders
• Facilitate discussions to clarify project scope and priorities, and support backlog refinement and sprint planning
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications and process flows

Required qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance
• Minimum of four years of Business Analyst experience in Agile software development or technology implementation
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management practices
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery and documentation
