Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting program management and operational analytics, the full-time remote Business Analyst will drive data-driven decision-making for a Department of Veteran Affairs cloud platform by performing data analysis, forecasting, and reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Collects, analyzes, and presents operational data to support program management reporting, including forecasts and monthly deliverables
• Develops and maintains program forecasts, incorporating projected growth and cloud cost projections while identifying cost variances
• Tracks deliverables against scheduled due dates and supports ad hoc data collection and reporting requests

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in business administration, information technology, data analytics, or a related field
• Five years of experience in business analysis, data analysis, and program support roles
• Proficiency with data visualization tools such as Power BI and experience with cloud cost analysis and FinOps practices
• Above average experience with Jira and Atlassian tooling for backlog data analysis and metric extraction
• Active Federal Civilian Public Trust clearance and U.S. Citizenship or Permanent Residency
