Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting an Agile team, the long-term contract Business Analyst will translate business needs into clear requirements and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders and development teams in a remote work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system needs into user stories and documentation for an enterprise financial software system
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify project scope and priorities, ensuring actionable work for development teams
• Create and maintain comprehensive documentation, including functional specifications and process flows, to support Agile execution

Required qualifications

• Ability to obtain and maintain a Federal Public Trust clearance
• Minimum of four years of Business Analyst experience in Agile software development
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management practices
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery and documentation
