Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting an Agile team remotely, the contract Business Analyst will translate business needs into clear requirements and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders and development teams for an enterprise financial software system.

Key responsibilities

• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify scope and translate requirements into actionable work for development teams
• Create and maintain documentation including user stories, process flows, and functional specifications
• Support backlog refinement, sprint planning, and prioritization in partnership with the Product Owner and Scrum Master

Required qualifications

• Minimum of four years of Business Analyst experience supporting Agile software development or technology implementation projects
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management practices
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery and documentation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance
