Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting an Agile team remotely, the contract Business Analyst will translate business and system needs into clear requirements, user stories, and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders and development teams.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze business systems and user needs to develop clear requirements and supporting documentation
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify scope and translate requirements into actionable work for development teams
• Create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, test scenarios, and project updates

Required qualifications

• Minimum of four years of Business Analyst experience supporting Agile software development projects
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management practices
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery and documentation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance
