Business Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting an Agile team, the full-time Business Analyst will translate business needs into clear requirements and documentation for an enterprise financial software system while working remotely on a long-term contract basis.

Key responsibilities

• Translate business and system needs into requirements, user stories, and documentation while collaborating with stakeholders and development teams
• Facilitate stakeholder discussions to clarify scope and priorities, translating requirements into actionable work for development teams
• Create and maintain documentation, including functional specifications, process flows, and project updates for both technical and non-technical audiences

Required qualifications

• Minimum of four years of Business Analyst experience supporting Agile software development or technology implementation projects
• Bachelor's degree or four additional years of relevant experience in lieu of a degree
• Strong understanding of the Agile software development lifecycle and project management practices
• Experience using Jira and Confluence for Agile delivery and documentation
• Ability to obtain and maintain a federal Public Trust clearance
