Business Analyst

Job Summary

To support a new mission with a large federal civilian agency, the full-time Business Analyst will gather and clarify client requirements, transform them into epics and user stories, and collaborate with the Scrum Master to develop Jira dashboards and maintain backlog readiness in a remote-first environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather and clarify requirements from the client alongside the Project Manager and Deputy IT Project Manager
• Convert requirements into epics and user stories with clear acceptance criteria
• Collaborate with the Scrum Master to build Jira dashboards and ensure backlog readiness and traceability

Required qualifications

• 3+ years of business analysis or requirements experience
• Experience working in an Agile environment; SAFe exposure preferred
• Working knowledge of Jira, including boards, filters, and dashboards
• Ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust suitability determination
• Strong written communication skills for user stories and acceptance criteria
