Business Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting enterprise technology initiatives in a remote capacity, the full-time Business Analyst will manage requirements analysis, facilitate agile delivery processes, and serve as a liaison between stakeholders and technical teams in a federal IT environment.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, document, and validate business and operational requirements while analyzing current processes to identify gaps and improvement opportunities
- Prepare operational status reports and develop reporting dashboards using Microsoft Power BI and Azure DevOps to track delivery performance
- Facilitate agile ceremonies and maintain product backlogs to ensure alignment with business priorities and effective project tracking
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in a Business Analyst role supporting enterprise Operations and Maintenance initiatives
- At least 2 years of experience using Azure DevOps or similar project tracking tools
- Demonstrated experience in developing Power BI reporting outputs and dashboards
- Experience supporting agile delivery teams in a federal government IT environment
