Business Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting DOJ modernization initiatives, the remote Business Analyst will gather and document business needs, assist with solution assessment, and contribute to testing and implementation efforts over a 6-month contract period.
Key Responsibilities
- Gather and translate business requirements into process diagrams, user stories, and functional descriptions
- Draft and maintain process maps, SOPs, and system documentation using approved templates
- Prepare UAT test cases, participate in testing, and document results for review and resolution
Required Qualifications
- Experience supporting large-scale modernization programs or enterprise initiatives
- Familiarity with data governance, privacy, and security practices
- Background in project/change management and facilitation skills
- Experience working with relational or cloud-based data platforms
- Ability to translate stakeholder input into actionable documentation
