Business Analyst
Job Summary
To support a dynamic product management team, the full-time remote Business Analyst will translate business needs into actionable requirements, collaborate with engineering teams, and maintain the product backlog to drive high-impact technology solutions.
Key responsibilities
- Elicit, document, and manage detailed business and functional requirements through stakeholder engagement
- Collaborate with product managers to refine the product backlog and support sprint planning and release activities
- Maintain clear documentation, including BRDs and process maps, while tracking backlog health and reporting on requirements completion
Required qualifications
- 2+ years of experience in a business analyst or similar role within a technology-focused organization
- Strong ability to translate ambiguous business needs into structured, actionable requirements
- Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and participation in sprint ceremonies
- Experience writing SQL queries or working with data to support analysis
- Working knowledge of database server concepts and DevOps environments
