Business Analyst
Job Summary
Translating complex healthcare audit and data insights into actionable business recommendations, the full-time remote Business Analyst will gather and document business requirements, support audit workflows, and refine processes related to data analytics, claims review, and reporting.
Key responsibilities
- Analyze large data sets and map business processes to identify gaps and opportunities
- Support the development of citation guidebooks, audit result reporting, and overpayment recovery strategies
- Collaborate with internal teams and external clients to improve operational efficiency and compliance
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Healthcare Administration, Information Systems, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience
- Demonstrated Business Analysis experience, including requirements gathering and documentation
- Experience with Business Process mapping and improvement in a healthcare or audit-related environment
- Knowledge of healthcare billing, coding, claims review, or audit practices is highly beneficial
- Familiarity with data analytics tools and basic statistical concepts used in sampling and reporting
