Business Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting an Agile software development team, the full-time Business Analyst will gather, analyze, document, and validate requirements for the Department of Transportation, while managing scope and change requests in a remote work environment.
Key responsibilities:
- Elicit and document customer requirements and user stories, ensuring comprehensive and traceable documentation
- Coordinate peer reviews and validate requirements with stakeholders, obtaining necessary approvals
- Support application testing and implementation, providing helpdesk support and troubleshooting as needed
Required qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Business, or a related field
- Minimum of 3 years of relevant experience in software development or technology transition projects
- Experience in Agile software development environments
- Proficiency in using Jira and other Atlassian tools for managing requirements and project information
- U.S. citizenship with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust Clearance
