Business Analyst
Job Summary
Supporting a large federal government healthcare modernization project, the full-time remote Business Analyst will lead requirements strategy, manage product backlogs, and serve as a liaison among stakeholders while working within an Agile Scrum environment.
Key responsibilities
- Lead enterprise-level requirements strategy by collaborating with senior business leaders and cross-functional teams to define and prioritize business needs
- Manage product-level backlogs and support roadmap planning by evaluating business value, strategic objectives, and team capacity
- Facilitate discovery sessions and translate business requirements into actionable user stories and high-quality technology solutions
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business, or a related discipline with at least 8 years of relevant experience
- Proven success in Agile and SAFe environments, including product backlog management and cross-team dependency management
- Experience with Electronic Data Interchange transactions and analyzing EDI data within complex workflows
- Background in supporting IT modernization or integration projects within federal healthcare agencies
- Hands-on experience with APIs and healthcare data exchange standards such as HL7 and FHIR
