Business Analyst, Animal Health

Job Summary

Supporting technology and software development initiatives, the part-time contract Business Analyst, Animal Health will manage the implementation of companion animal genetic products, translate business requirements into technical specifications, and collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize solutions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Coordinate the implementation of new companion animal genetic products and updates to existing products globally
• Translate product and business requirements into technical specifications and manage execution with software teams
• Participate in cross-functional teams to plan and deliver all aspects of companion animal product launches

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Project Management, Information Systems, Software Engineering, or related discipline with 2+ years of experience
• Experience in software development or business analysis within Life Sciences, Consumer Technology, or Animal Health industries
• Proven ability to define, analyze, and document requirements effectively
• Knowledge of project management principles and software development life cycle management
• Familiarity with customer-facing platforms for pet owners and veterinary professionals is preferred
