Job Summary
Supporting the VA Office of Academic Affiliations, the full-time remote Business Analyst ATO Support Analyst will manage business requirements gathering, system documentation, and ATO maintenance for a portfolio of applications, ensuring compliance and security artifacts are up-to-date.
Key responsibilities
- Elicit, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders, translating them into actionable technical requirements
- Maintain ATO artifacts, ensuring they remain current within specified timeframes and support the sustainment of the active VA umbrella ATO
- Develop and maintain system documentation, process flows, and user-facing job aids while tracking compliance status and contributing to progress reports
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Information Systems, Computer Science, or a related field
- Four or more years of experience in business analysis, system documentation, and security compliance support
- Familiarity with VA ATO/RMF processes and NIST security standards
- Demonstrated experience maintaining security compliance artifacts such as SSP and POA&M
- Must have resided continuously in the United States for the past 36 months and be a U.S. citizen
