Business Analyst - Child Welfare

Job Summary

Supporting large child welfare system modernization initiatives, the full-time Business Analyst - Child Welfare will translate program and stakeholder needs into business requirements and documentation while collaborating with various teams in a remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver consulting project activities and analyze complex data to identify patterns and recommend actions
• Facilitate requirements sessions and document current and future-state business processes and specifications
• Support traceability between business objectives, requirements, and project deliverables while coordinating with technical and project management teams

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in business administration, information systems, social work, public administration, human services, or a related field
• 3-5 years of relevant professional experience in business analysis or child welfare system modernization
• Demonstrated ability to work with diverse stakeholders to document business needs and validate workflows
• Experience developing business requirements, functional specifications, and project deliverables
• Knowledge of child welfare and familiarity with federal and state requirements is required
