Business Analyst, Financial Systems

Job Summary

To support software development and implementation, the full-time Business Analyst, Financial Systems will refine requirements, validate data, and assist with testing activities while collaborating with cross-functional teams in a fully remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Refine user stories and acceptance criteria, managing documentation that supports development
• Analyze data using SQL to validate assumptions and identify patterns impacting workflows
• Collaborate with QA to define test cases and support user acceptance testing (UAT)

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Business Administration, or a related field
• 6+ years of experience in IT project management, business analysis, or software implementation
• Proficiency in project management software such as Confluence, Jira, or Azure DevOps
• Experience creating application UI mockups/designs preferred
• Understanding of the software development life cycle (SDLC) in an Agile methodology
