Business Analyst II

Job Summary

Supporting a long-term smart meter installation initiative, the contract Business Analyst II will collect, organize, and analyze data from work orders and field operations, focusing on improving operational efficiency and reporting key performance metrics, with the opportunity to work remotely on Fridays.

Key responsibilities

• Collect and analyze data related to installation, repair, and maintenance processes to improve operational efficiency
• Develop insights and reporting around key performance metrics for the gas operations team, identifying trends and opportunities for workflow standardization
• Analyze real-time smart meter data to identify anomalies and support proactive, data-driven decision-making

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business Management, Economics, Finance, Accounting, or a relevant field
• 2-4 years of relevant experience in a business analyst role
• Knowledge of business and management principles related to strategic planning and resource allocation
• Experience with computer applications such as MS Office, Power BI, and SAP; utility or gas experience is a plus
• Ability to apply accounting and mathematical principles as needed
