Business Analyst II/QA
Job Summary
Supporting a fully remote team, the Business Analyst II/QA will gather and document business requirements, create and execute test cases, and manage defects in an Agile/Scrum environment on a 5-month contract basis.
Key responsibilities
- Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
- Create and manage user stories in Jira while supporting backlog management and defect tracking
- Document and execute test cases using qTest and collaborate with stakeholders throughout the development lifecycle
Required qualifications
- 3-5+ years of application/software testing experience
- Professional experience in business analysis with skills in requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
- Hands-on experience with Jira for user story creation and defect tracking
- Experience using qTest for creating and documenting test cases
- Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience working in two-week sprint cycles
