Business Analyst (Insurance)

Job Summary

To support a large-scale Reinsurance Modernization initiative, the contract IT Business Analyst (Insurance) will lead business analysis activities, engage with executive stakeholders, and manage reporting workstreams, with a hybrid work arrangement preferred in Madison, WI or New York, NY, while remote candidates in the U.S. are also considered.

Key responsibilities

• Lead business analysis by gathering and validating requirements with senior stakeholders
• Serve as the liaison between business partners and IT to ensure successful delivery of solutions
• Manage reporting workstreams, ensuring deliverables align with project objectives and timelines

Required qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst and/or Product Owner
• Extensive experience in Reinsurance and working knowledge of Property & Casualty (P&C) Insurance
• Proven experience leading projects in Agile environments
• Strong skills in requirements elicitation, process analysis, and stakeholder management
• Experience using JIRA and Microsoft Office Suite, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
