Business Analyst IV

Job Summary

Leading the governance of system alerts, the full-time remote Business Analyst IV will rationalize alerts, define standards, and ensure actionable responses while collaborating with cross-functional teams to enhance operational reliability.

Key responsibilities:

• Establish and maintain a department-wide alert rationalization framework to evaluate alert quality and actionability
• Define and enforce alerting standards, including severity definitions, required metadata, and routing rules
• Catalog response instructions for actionable alerts, ensuring runbooks are maintained and updated regularly

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience in IT Operations, SRE, Observability, Monitoring Engineering, or Incident Management
• Proven success in reducing alert noise and improving actionability across enterprise alerting ecosystems
• Experience with monitoring/observability tools such as Splunk, AppDynamics, or Datadog
• Strong understanding of incident response workflows and operational coverage models
• Excellent stakeholder management skills with the ability to drive standards across teams
