Business Analyst - Payments

Job Summary

A company is looking for a Business Analyst - Payments to support a large-scale payment transformation initiative.

Key Responsibilities

• Partner with senior leadership and cross-functional teams to support a payment operations transformation initiative
• Analyze current provider payment workflows, identifying inefficiencies, risks, and opportunities for automation
• Document business requirements, process flows, and functional specifications for payment-related systems and improvements

Required Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably within healthcare, payments, or financial operations
• Experience working with claims-based payment processing and/or provider payment operations
• Familiarity with clearinghouse integrations and electronic remittance processes (e.g., 835 files)
• Strong experience analyzing complex operational workflows and financial data
• Advanced proficiency with Excel and data analysis tools
