Business Analyst QA

Job Summary

Supporting a fully remote team, the contract Business Analyst II/QA will gather and document business requirements, create and execute test cases, and manage defects while collaborating with stakeholders in an Agile/Scrum environment.

Key responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and system requirements
• Create and manage user stories in Jira, supporting backlog management and defect tracking
• Create, document, and execute test cases using qTest while collaborating with business stakeholders and development teams

Required qualifications

• 3-5+ years of application/software testing experience
• Professional Business Analyst experience with requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder communication
• Hands-on experience with Jira and qTest, including user story creation and test case documentation
• Strong understanding of Agile/Scrum methodologies and experience in two-week sprint cycles
• Hands-on testing/QA experience with strong analytical and organizational skills
