Business Analytics Manager

Job Summary

A life insurance company has a current position open for a Business Analytics Manager.

Must be able to:

• Develop and own statistical models to large datasets to identify causal impacts and to predict future performance
• Identify opportunities to empower teams with data and tools to improve performance, reduce pain points, and promote better decision making
• Spearhead decision making related to customer acquisition, operations, pricing, core business expansion, and new opportunities

Qualifications Include:

• 5+ years of experience in data science, business / product analytics, business intelligence, or other analytically-intensive roles
• Expert knowledge of SQL and proficiency in a scripting language such as Python or R
• Strong project management experience
• Ability to create, maintain and disseminate information to stakeholders for multiple projects/work streams at one time
• Advanced proficiency using statistical techniques such as MLR and logistic regression for solving complex problems
• Expertise with tools used for data analysis, visualization, and dashboarding, such as Tableau and Excel
