Job Summary
Serving as the strategic and operational leader for core business applications, the full-time remote Business Application Owner will ensure application stability, compliance, and optimization while acting as the primary liaison between business stakeholders, IT teams, and vendors.
Key responsibilities
- Define and maintain the long-term roadmap for assigned applications, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and regulatory obligations
- Oversee day-to-day application performance, including monitoring system KPIs and coordinating incident responses
- Manage relationships with software vendors and facilitate user acceptance testing for new features or releases
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Systems, Healthcare Administration, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in the health insurance, TPA, or healthcare technology industry
- Strong understanding of claims administration systems and healthcare data standards
- Demonstrated experience managing business applications or leading system-related initiatives
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
