Business Architect

Job Summary

Working remotely in a full-time capacity, the Value Stream Business Architect will engage with business and technical stakeholders to articulate the connection between business needs and Value Stream capabilities while developing actionable roadmaps and supporting strategic initiatives.

Key responsibilities

• Engage with stakeholders to assess current state and make recommendations for Value Stream transition plans
• Collaborate with architects to break down portfolio epics into actionable capability groupings for Value Stream teams
• Support the SAFe Portfolio Kanban process by deconstructing portfolio epics into manageable backlog bundles

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Engineering, Math, IT systems, or a related field
• Three years of experience in creating business capability roadmaps and performing business architecture for established Value Streams
• Five years of preferred experience in roles with strategic and technical impact on large organizational projects
• In-depth knowledge of company operations and the broader FedEx enterprise
• Certification in Business Architecture is preferred
