Business Architect
Job Summary
To support strategic transformation initiatives, the contract Business Architect will work remotely while defining business architecture frameworks, developing capability maps, and aligning business strategy with enterprise execution, with occasional travel to Buffalo, NY every 4-6 weeks.
Key responsibilities
- Translate business strategy into capability, value stream, and initiative roadmaps
- Develop and maintain business capability maps, value streams, and operating models
- Engage with business leaders and architecture teams to drive alignment and support portfolio planning
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Business, Technology, or a related field
- 10+ years of experience in Business Architecture, Strategy, Consulting, or Transformation roles
- Experience creating capability maps and business architecture artifacts in large enterprise environments
- Familiarity with Enterprise Architecture Frameworks such as TOGAF or BIZBOK
- Certifications such as CBA or TOGAF are preferred
