Business Continuity Consultant

Job Summary

To support high-impact initiatives in a remote contract role, the Business Continuity & Dependency Risk Consultant will focus on strengthening Business Continuity capabilities and remediating Single Points of Failure across critical operations while collaborating with business and technology teams.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with stakeholders to validate critical dependencies and analyze risk exposure related to Single Points of Failure
• Review and enhance existing Business Continuity plans, identifying gaps and implementing testing standards
• Translate findings into actionable insights for leadership and track remediation progress

Required qualifications

• 9-10+ years of experience in Business Continuity, Enterprise Resilience, Disaster Recovery, or Operational Risk
• Hands-on experience with Business Impact Assessments, BCP/DR plan development, and dependency mapping
• Familiarity with industry frameworks such as ISO 22301, NIST, and FFIEC
• Strong communication skills with the ability to influence stakeholders
• Proven ability to integrate into existing teams and deliver results in fast-paced environments
