Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

Supporting a range of teams and initiatives, the full-time remote Business Data Analyst will focus on highly analytical tasks involving data in Excel, including financial modeling, reporting, and cross-functional project contributions.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and update recurring hospitality financial reports and presentations for stakeholders using Excel and PowerPoint
• Import and structure hotel revenue and expense data within Excel, mapping general ledger accounts to standardized categories
• Build and maintain dynamic Excel-based models for structured analyses and contribute to cross-functional projects

Required Qualifications

• 2-5 years of data analysis experience with a focus on financial modeling in Excel
• Advanced knowledge of Excel, including formulas, pivot tables, and dynamic charts
• Advanced PowerPoint skills for creating presentations and data-driven storytelling
• Prior financial modeling experience and ability to adapt models to varying data structures
• Basic data querying experience with SQL and understanding of accounting principles
