Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

Collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams, the full-time temporary Business Data Analyst will perform detailed data analysis and discovery across multiple cloud and on-premises source systems, focusing on data processing, validation, and reporting in a remote environment for a duration of 7 months.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and discover data required to meet business needs by collaborating with stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Define data processing and validation rules for modern data platforms such as Databricks
• Support the development of data reporting and analytics applications, ensuring data accuracy and usability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 10 years of experience in data analysis, including work with ETL, data pipelines, and SQL
• Experience with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms
• Knowledge of healthcare payer and provider data systems
• Familiarity with source-to-target mapping methodologies and data quality assessment tools
