Business Data Analyst

Job Summary

Collaborating with business stakeholders and IT teams, the full-time temporary Business Data Analyst will perform detailed data analysis and discovery across cloud and on-premises systems, focusing on data processing, validation, and reporting for healthcare data solutions in a remote setting.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze and discover data required to meet business needs by working with various stakeholders and subject matter experts
• Define data processing and validation rules for modern data platforms, particularly Databricks
• Support the development of data reporting and analytics applications, ensuring data accuracy and usability

Required qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field
• 10 years of experience in data analysis, including ETL, SQL, and data pipeline frameworks
• Experience with Databricks and cloud-based data platforms
• Knowledge of healthcare payer data systems and enterprise data warehousing concepts
• Proficiency in relational databases such as Oracle and SQL Server
