Business Data Analyst
Job Summary
To support data-driven decision-making, the contract Business Data Analyst will build and maintain reporting tools, analyze business data, and produce performance reports while working flexibly from home in Alpharetta, GA.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain dashboards and reporting tools to track data and define KPIs
- Collect, analyze, and report business data, producing monthly client performance reports
- Write queries and data transformation scripts to assist with process improvement and predictive modeling
Required qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in computer science, statistics, finance, or a related field; master's degree is a plus
- 3-5 years of experience in data analysis, warehousing, and reporting, preferably in credit card, finance, or insurance industries
- Proficiency in SQL and experience with BI tools, particularly Microsoft Power BI
- Strong analytical skills and a firm understanding of statistics and databases
- Experience with programming languages associated with data analytics, such as SQL and VBA
