Job Summary
To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will be responsible for lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market mapping to identify opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage communication with prospective targets through various channels
- Coordinate meetings, maintain accurate pipeline records, and participate in early deal conversations to assess strategic fit
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process
