Job Summary
To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will identify and engage prospective targets, manage outreach campaigns, and coordinate early deal conversations, while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage founders, executives, and business owners
- Schedule and prepare materials for introductory calls and maintain accurate records in the CRM
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process
