Job Summary
To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will identify and engage prospective targets, manage outreach campaigns, and coordinate early deal conversations while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research for acquisition opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential business partners and manage follow-ups using CRM tools
- Coordinate introductory calls and maintain accurate records of deal stages and contact history in the CRM
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently own the outreach process
