Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, conduct market research, and manage outreach efforts to identify and advance prospective business opportunities, working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market mapping to identify opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential targets and manage follow-ups in the CRM
  • Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records of pipeline progress, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to manage outreach processes independently
