Job Summary
To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO.
Key Responsibilities
- Build and maintain a list of target companies for potential acquisition or partnership opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage founders and business owners, managing follow-ups and tracking responses in CRM
- Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records of deal stages and contact history to ensure a consistent flow of qualified opportunities
Required Qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a formal degree
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot strongly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process
