Job Summary

To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will identify and engage prospective targets, manage outreach campaigns, and coordinate meetings while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities and conduct market research to identify opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage follow-ups using CRM tools, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities
  • Participate in early-stage conversations with prospects and coordinate with cross-functional teams to support active deal processes
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, with HubSpot preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with strong written and verbal communication skills, capable of crafting compelling outreach materials
