Job Summary
To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will focus on lead generation, outreach to prospective targets, and pipeline management, while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition and partnership opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage founders and executives, managing responses and tracking outcomes in the CRM
- Coordinate meetings and prepare materials for introductory calls, maintaining accurate records of deal stages and opportunities in the pipeline
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to own the outreach process independently
