Job Summary
To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will manage lead generation, outreach campaigns, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition and partnership opportunities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential targets and manage follow-ups using CRM tools
- Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate pipeline records, ensuring a consistent flow of qualified opportunities to senior team members
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience in lieu of a degree
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage outreach processes with minimal oversight
