Business Development Associate

Job Summary

To support a growing corporate development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will engage in lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working remotely or in a hybrid capacity from Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities

• Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition opportunities
• Execute personalized outreach campaigns and manage communication sequences using CRM tools
• Coordinate meetings and prepare materials for senior team members while maintaining accurate pipeline records

Required qualifications

• At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
• Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
• Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
• Demonstrated ability to conduct market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
• Self-starter mentality with the ability to work independently with minimal oversight
