Job Summary

To support a growing Corporate Development team, the full-time Business Development Associate will be responsible for lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment based in Columbia, MO.

Key responsibilities
  • Build and maintain a curated list of target companies and conduct market research to identify acquisition or partnership opportunities
  • Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage potential targets and manage outreach sequences in CRM
  • Coordinate meetings and maintain accurate records of deal stages and contact history while participating in early-stage conversations with prospective targets
Required qualifications
  • At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics; relevant industry experience may be considered in lieu of a formal degree
  • Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
  • Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings into clear outputs
  • Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process
