Job Summary
The full-time Business Development Associate will focus on lead generation, outreach, and pipeline management while working in a hybrid environment from Columbia, MO, to support the Corporate Development team in identifying and advancing prospective targets for strategic transactions.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain a curated list of target companies aligned with strategic priorities
- Execute personalized outreach campaigns to engage founders, executives, and business owners
- Schedule and prepare materials for introductory calls and manage the top-of-funnel pipeline
Required qualifications
- At least 1 year of experience in business development, corporate development, or a related field
- Bachelor's degree in business, finance, accounting, or economics, or relevant industry experience
- Hands-on experience managing pipelines and contact records in a CRM platform, preferably HubSpot
- Demonstrated ability to conduct rigorous market research and synthesize findings
- Self-starter mentality with the ability to independently manage the outreach process
