Job Summary
To drive revenue growth across Golfweek's media and event platforms, the full-time Business Development Associate will manage client outreach strategies, oversee the RFP process, and collaborate with internal teams to deliver innovative marketing solutions in a remote environment.
Key responsibilities
- Partner with sales to develop and implement brand outreach strategies for new business and renewals, focusing on Golfweek partnerships
- Manage the complete RFP process, ensuring seamless coordination across teams from ideation through execution
- Develop and present compelling PowerPoint proposals that align with client marketing objectives and promote USA TODAY Sports Media Group's value proposition
Required qualifications
- BA or BS from an accredited college or university, preferably in marketing, communications, psychology, journalism, or English
- Minimum 3-5 years of experience in digital advertising at a media company, sports marketing agency, or within the sports industry
- Strong understanding and passion for sports, particularly golf and its ecosystem
- Proven ability to develop innovative marketing solutions and handle multiple projects simultaneously
- Proficiency in Microsoft PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word; knowledge of comScore and Salesforce is a plus
